FAQ

Common questions about installing and using Damda.

What is Damda?

Damda is a timetable and study planner for busy weeks. It is an Android app that keeps your whole week easy to read, with to-dos, a focus timer and records right beside it.

Do I need an account?

No. There is no sign-up. Your timetable, to-dos and memos stay on this device, so keep a backup file for when you change phones.

Can I download the APK directly?

This site does not distribute APK files directly. It links to the Google Play install page, where the latest version and updates are provided.

I don't see the 3.1.0 update yet.

Version 3.1.0 reaches Google Play gradually. If you don't see it yet, check the Play Store again a little later.

Where did the dog go?

From 3.1.0, Damda's main character is a hamster. The outfits you wore and collected came along too, and the bow tie, scarf and bandana became hoodies.

Does Damda need camera permission?

No. Damda does not ask for camera permission. Taking a photo opens your device's camera app, and choosing one uses the system photo picker.

Where are records created in the app stored?

Your timetable, to-dos, memos and photos stay on this device and are not sent to ranking, analytics or ad services. The privacy policy explains what features that need the network, such as the study hall, ranking, analytics, error reports and ads, handle.

What do others see in the Damda study hall?

Others only see a name and a hamster that change every day. Your name, timetable and to-do titles are never uploaded. Once you first pick a seat, your focus time today, activity type, status and seat are shared while you use the focus timer. Turning on offline mode stops this.

What is Damda Plus?

Damda shows ads. Damda Plus is a monthly subscription you can cancel anytime. It removes ads on every screen and adds features such as multiple timetables, background images and timetable colors, and Plus-only hamsters and outfits.
